Funny that Jrt good joke
sort of makes sense of how daft the whole transfer deadline day thing is.
Not that fussed about missing out on vaughan would rather stick with what we have and blood some more kids.
been surprised at how laid back league 1 is and the honesty of the players has been a joy. No rolling around and trying to cheat just lads getting on with it playing the game.2 September 2015 at 1:04 am #144540Officials of Irish football club Demdark City have been seen taking thousands of yellow flowers into their stadium today, apparently they think its dandelion day. :blink:What about all the clubs who are skint and have no money at all? Is it breadline day for them?.
2 September 2015 at 9:54 am #144542shoud be called disloyalty day because it alwYs seem to consist of cry baby players camping outside grounds were they have been refused a move.
Can’t stand it although I know it is very useful for people who wait till the very last minute sell a prize asset and then not reinvest the money.3 September 2015 at 12:07 am #144558I rekon we done awreet out erv winder.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!3 September 2015 at 1:05 am #144561The signings yesterday impressed me a great deal particularly Kellet who was on loan at Utd last year and the lads we have brought in look like bargains in the main, they have recruited really well- well done!
The start we have made at home is very encouraging but the way the young lads have applied themselves and their effort and honesty gives us all hope that the dreadful rot has been stopped.
would rather see hungry players with something to prove rather than has beens and overall the transfer business has been conducted in the correct fashion and they have obviously sent out scouts and recruited well.
I’m not saying we will batter this league or even make the play offs but to see these youngsters having a go and trying their best is far more satisfying than seeing mercanries clutter up our squad.
I was a gloomy as hell a few weeks back but the performances against Crewe and Scunthorpe have lifted my spirits and the team seems to be gelling very quickly.
I’m predicting a win on Saturday and a move towards the top – bloody hell what a feeling it is to be positive at last! -
