26 April 2010 at 3:40 am #30793Because I pass the boredom of home life over by winding up pr icks like you Jimmy boy. :lol:I don’t understand though. I think it is quite clear that I am finding our conversations more entertaining than anything, and I think it is also quite clear that it is in no way winding me up :D
26 April 2010 at 11:24 am #30796I do. Always have done. But me preference is with the football.
Not always, obviously. When Latics were shyte and the rugby were winning everything you wouldn’t find me within a mile of Springy.

I support both. There are idiots on both sides who hate each other , and as shown in an earlier post on this thread they don’t know why.
26 April 2010 at 12:54 pm #30807Two of my mates watch both.
26 April 2010 at 1:02 pm #30809Two of my mates watch both.Totally different sports, no reason you shouldn’t like both, except for idiots like Lyndsey. I have always prefered Football and wouldn’t pay to go and watch rugby, I’ve seen a couple of games on tv this year and quite enjoyed them though. Ideally we should all want any Wigan team to do well but it just hasn’t worked out that way.
26 April 2010 at 2:48 pm #30823`Totally different sports, no reason you shouldn’t like both, except for idiots like Lyndsey.’ – Spot on Blueview. I am one `The Egg’s’ mates. And yes he can be a tool!
Watched my first footy game at Springfield in the 70’s (my Dad took me).
Went to the away match at Torquay in `79 (good times…).
Started watching Rugby League in `81 (2nd division, so not a glory hound.) I prefer Rugby League, but like Blueview says 2 different sports.26 April 2010 at 3:50 pm #30830Ye,but yer a benefit scrounging, mobility scooter driving tool!
If my aging memory serves me right, those were the exact words you used to use to describe dear old Fred Elliot before he passed away when he was walking around Rivington reservoir.Your vocabulary is very limited young man when it is used to attempt to very poorly fook someone off. [/quote]
Didn’t know Fred was dead, hope you spread his ashes up at Pooley Bridge ;)

Did his boyfriend push him in the reservoir, I heard he’d stabbed him before (in more ways than one) ?

Well……..I supported teams since the 70s and have been a season ticket holder of both teams on many occasions….I have always spouted on about being ONETOWN and put the phrase at the end of everypost i ever made………….but now……….i am not so sure……..for the second time in as many seasons i saw the Warriors throw a game…..Odds of 16 / 1 for Wigan to be winning at end of first half against Quins on Friday and losing at end of second half must have been too tempting………..the rubber arm tackles that went in,continuously letting players break a tackle….the runnining directly into players so they deffo get tackled……was too much for me to bare…………They threw that game and let the fans down…………I guarantee Gleeson would have had at leat a K on it………..
Its pathetic………i might stick with them …i dont know….28 April 2010 at 12:53 am #30990I do.I know people who hate the ‘chubbies’ but when challenged as to why, they can’t give a legitimate answer.
Sheep.
