I remember Griff saying he rated him and me saying that I begged to differ, well we all know who was right now don’t we!I’ve defended him in the past Phil as he was rated at Cardiff and likewise at Inverness before that – so there’s obviously been a player in there as some point. He’s always been anonymous when he’s played for us – not doing a lot wrong, but actually not doing a lot in general.
But after having seen his contributions this season, capped with that performance on Tuesday, I’m guessing he either had a bang to head resulting in him forgetting how to play football, or he is actually the evil non-football-playing twin brother of Don Cowie and the real Don Cowie was tied up and dumped somewhere between Cardiff and Wigan.
Last Tuesday he looked like a supporter who had won a raffle to play in a real match.
Happy to see the back of him.
