Seven points off an automatic relegation spot and nine points from the last play-off spot ! Now some posters on here have said that there is no cause for panic and that we are doing fine, well the above situation says otherwise and so I implore you Uncle Dave to act fairly fast and get a new boss in post haste !

If we lose at Millwall at the weekend we will find ourselves in a relegation scrap.Something I thought would never happen this season. Please Mr Whelan get your man in asap and lets not drag our feet appointing him. Don’t see anyone else beyond Phelan or Ollie.

Needs to seriously think about signing some decent forwards who have got sufficient experience and aren’t past it. I think we have plenty options in defence & midfield.
5 December 2013 at 11:30 am #124393Needs to think about playing some forwards and off loading some of the midfield dross. Also needs someone who will make the team play with spirit and not the shite we have had going into the 5th season now. Above all he needs to get a consistent starting eleven playing and stop this pathetic rotation idiocy.
5 December 2013 at 11:45 am #124394The only worry is if we remain were we are come january, which striker(s) could we attract. However, this is the beauty of the championship. 9 points off the playoffs, 7 points of relegation =-O

We don’t need a manager immediately – we need a fitness coach.
We have what is widely acknowledged to be a good set of players individually, who started the season well, even pre-season they looked promising, but have slid down and down since. They are just not fit, and anyone who expected to see an improvement yesterday is living in Cloud Cuckoo Land. It will take weeks to get them fit again.
Take as much time as it takes to get the right manager in, Dave, but get someone working on the team’s fitness quickly.
