I think all our fans should read the link below and then honestly re-evaluate our position. I suspect a large number of us don’t actually realise how good we have got it. Come on, even so called “darksiders” lets all pull together for one last push. It’s not doing anybody any good slagging the club off left, right and centre.

What a journey!7 February 2012 at 2:55 pm #80773if we do go down.. what we achieved in 35 years is fantastic…
7 years in the premier league every year being one of the favourites to go down.
We are a great example for smaller clubs coming up to the top flight.
Im Proud to be a wiganer and still will be if we play in the championship.

as i said it does’nt seem that long since me and a couple of hundred others were at Wigan Pier in a meeting with Jack Sudworth and John James contemplating the clubs future.
Portsmouths problem was Redknapp, Bond and their merry band of rogues
8 February 2012 at 12:00 am #80814Ill be very very surprised if a club of Portsmouths stature goes bang without some last minute 11 th hour savour coming in or a reform in one of the non leagues.
I have always had a soft spot for this club and always remember them bringing loads to Springy in the late 70s.
It is very grim for them andi agree we should be very very thankful we have a club to support now and in years to come regardless of what division we are in.8 February 2012 at 12:46 am #80816Ill be very very surprised if a club of Portsmouths stature goes bang without some last minute 11 th hour savour coming in or a reform in one of the non leagues.
