2 September 2011 at 1:39 pm #71012Fair enough Diouf and Barton as they are both Bel-ends wouldnt let them play in my sunday league team. And i understand Drogba is an idiot in previous seasons. The whole Lehmann era etc. Yeah Ronaldos ignorant and arrogant, but i suppose his arrogance is justified considering hes the 2nd best player in the world and breaks records every season. What exactly has Fabregas done? :?
Do you mean aside from being a member of the Spanish world cup winning squad? Not much. Plus the best club side in the world have just spent 2 years trying to sign him coz they felt he would improve them & wound up paying about £35mill for him.
For the record all the players mentioned above come across as idiots to me, but if they played in a Latics shirt I wouldn’t care less
2 September 2011 at 3:00 pm #71015Fabregas is an idiot? What on earth has he done to deserve that?

Fabregas is an idiot? What on earth has he done to deserve that?Exactly my point. My original comment of ‘What exactly has fabregas done’ should have finished with wrong….. I think the guys a class act, and could only dream of him joining the latics.

i think he’s a superb footballer but, from what I’ve seen, as a person he comes across as a bit if an idiot.
Part of it I think comes from the whole arrogant & petulant attitude that Arsenal give off (on the playing side)
An example of why I think he’s a bit of an idiot as a person is a cup game at Hull a few seasons back when he wasn’t even playing but saw fit to go on the pitch at the end & rub the noses of the Hull players in it – think that was also the same game where Brian Horton accused him of spitting at him in the tunnel too2 September 2011 at 4:22 pm #71023Actually TL, I’d forgotten about the Hull thing. HR also had a pop at Mark Hughes for the way his Blackburn team tried to stop Arsenal playing.
So, all on all, a bit of a berk, yes. Bot not in the same league as Barton and Diouf, I’d say.
2 September 2011 at 5:28 pm #71026Reminds me of when there were rumours we might take a punt on Goater …
Saying that it puts it in to perspective how far we have come as a club since then…
Anyway we are not talking about Fabregas or anyone world class were talking about a player who cant get a game for team I am expecting to finish below us this season!! and were talking about the guy who spat in arguably one of our best ever players faces!!!!!!
f3ck him !!! :angry-boxing:
