      With news that Cardiff City are to give Kevin McNaughton a benefit for his nine years service for The Bluebirds would it not be befitting of Latics to offer Boycey the same for his nine years at Latics.
      I know there are arguments for and against this but it would be great to welcome Emmerson back in a blue shirt to give the fans a chance to say thanks and give him a proper goodbye.

        Hear what you are saying, but once a player leaves a club it sort of defeats the object?

        I’ll definitely be going to the Blackpool game in the cup, as much to see Boycey as anything else. Great servant to our club in my opinion, and hope he gets a rousing applause (if he plays).
