So the 2 perpetrators in this video nasty play or have played for England C! They want banning along with the ref who appears to be a complete fuckwit!
26 November 2014 at 1:33 pm #136297How were they even appealing against some of them decisions????
26 November 2014 at 1:43 pm #136298This game will take some beating though!

They want banning along with the ref who appears to be a complete fuckwit! :blink:The first challenge & the one by the corner flag aren’t good – the first should have been a straight red & the corner flag one was reckless (with no chance of getting the ball which is a caution but at a push you could argue a straight red for excessive force.
Other than that, there’s not much in the video clip that justifies the journalists use of the phrase that he’s “never seen such savagery on a football pitch” and the one where the linesman gets cleaned out had been given against the fella who was the victim of most of the challenges – then I saw the journalist was Adrian Durham who I’m assuming is the same prat of an Adrian Durham who has the TalkSport show26 November 2014 at 4:43 pm #136305This game will take some beating though! Some quality football there.
To be fair to the Italians, the first guy reacted to a kick & then possibly being stepped on by the Chile player who then has a delayed fall to the ground along with some other Chile player who barely seems to get any touch at all. The second player reacted to a sneaky kick from the Chile player by kicking out himself & was sent off.
In the 3rd incident the Chile player smacks the Italian square in the face for trying to kick the ball from under his legs, doesn’t get sent off so the same Italian player then dishes out his own justice to the same Chilean player.
The Chileans are as at fault, if not more so, than the Italians & yet David Coleman says the Chileans were prepared to be reasonable & the Italians only prepared to use force!!26 November 2014 at 5:35 pm #136308The was some background to that game and why it turned out to be so nasty.
If anyone is interested:-

The ref was incompetent! The corner flag one didn’t even get a free kick!! And what was the perpetrator saying to the prone Beautyman as he walked by him? The No.5 showed all the qualities of a thug to me !

And what was the perpetrator saying to the prone Beautyman as he walked by him? The No.5 showed all the qualities of a thug to me ! :dry:I hadn’t realised that the corner flag challenge was the one referred to that didn’t even warrant a free kick!!
To be fair to the ref on that one, its a bit different at that level but I would be looking to the assistant to lead on that one (I think he’s just out of camera shot but it’s right in front of him) as the contact & ball is on his side of the players & he should have a better view. I’d look at the assistant coz it looked like a foul from my viewpoint but if he didn’t flag (like the other one flagged for the earlier incident when he got cleaned out) than I wouldn’t give it – that said, from ref’s I’ve done games for who do football league lines they say that the higher up you go the less the ref wants you to get involved in anything other than offsides & whether the ball’s gone out of play.
As for what the player said I don’t know, but I can imagine!!As for what Beautyman got cautioned for. I initially thought that it was for dissent coz of the way he reacts when the ref blows for the free kick but if you look at the ref before he shows the yellow, he points to his ears to tell him to listen & then he points to a few areas of the pitch so it looks to me as if he was cautioned for persistent fouling rather than for that particular foul (although it looked as if they both had hold of each others shirt in that instance).
The #5 should have gone for the first challenge for me & the step back on to him was a snidey trick but of the 3 clips involving him, he was fouled against in one of them and in the build up to the stamp, Beautyman has 2 swings back at him with his left arm which if spotted by the ref would have prevented the further incident (for which there’s no excuse)
