The England v Slovenia is on June 23rd with a 3.00p.m. Kick off.
As this is a wednesday, how are you going to get out of work for it.
Scive
Book a day off (or half day)
Be sick.Or are you not bothered. I work shifts and am off anyway.

the lads where i work have sorted that one out already,we are all staying a little longer on monday and tuesday and working through lunch on the wednesday so we will finish early
some of the plants i go to work in the shift workers are having tv’s in mess rooms or are letting staff go out to watch it in local pubs
from what i have seen so far employers/bosses seem pretty cool about letting people watch at least some of the game.
but thats blackburn/darwen dont know what the mill owner/victorian style employers of wigan are doing.

Day off work, spend the morning building up Brownie points down by steam cleaning the patio then hopefully down to Ashton for the afternoon.
24 May 2010 at 5:13 pm #34520There are many enlightened employers who will turn this into a positive experience.
I work in an office with around 100 other people.
We’ve got two 50″ plasmas already set up. For both the opening game and the England game at 3pm there’s food, beer and wine laid on.For all other Engalnd games we’ve extended flexi-time for the morning after, so people can roll in at 10 o’clock.
If England win the final then everyone gets an extra days’ holiday. Only so many can book the next day, but those who aren’t too bothered still get an extra day to take whenever they like.
I guarantee practically everyone will make up the lost time without being asked.
Obviously, we’re in an industry that can allow this, but it would be interesting to understand what other companies are doing.

They have about 20 screens in there now and the beer is as cheap as chips. Well, it might be – I don’t know what they charge for chips
