I don’t follow the greed league religiously like the media seem to think we should do but after watching England against the giants of Malta I was just wondering…Was that the second choice side with the better players rested for the bigger game on Monday?
Dele Alli, Oxlade Chamberlain FFS surely not. Overated shite.

Very average, with a poor manager.

It will be same old, same old next summer. Off the field events may take centre stage!

Having watched the U21’s in the tournaments whilst he was in charge & seen the 2/3 games when he was on trial I was baffled as to why the FA thought Southgate was gonna be a good appointment

They are top of their league and will make it to the finals. That was his objective and it’s job done. I didn’t bother watching the game as I lost interest ages ago. It’s all about results not performance. Nobody will remember the good performances by Northern Ireland or Scotland in the Group stages come the finals when they are not there.
Well done Gareth and good luck in the games to come.

            From Matlock to ManU
            What a journey!

Unfortunately as a spectacle for supporters you are spot on there JR in these result orientated times.
However to play like we did against a side like Malta is akin to a Championship side struggling against Wigan Robin Park.

Same as the others I reckon marrer, a yes man specially handpicked by the FA to repair the damage done by big Sam. 16 years ago we beat Germany 5-1 in Munich and the international games have become less important every year since because the English Clubs, players, media and certain fans are only interested in the greed league. Todays player thinks he runs the game and has become completely detached from the real world. I myself am just as guilty. I have gone from being at all the home games and a few away as well to now, don’t give a shiny shite. Why should I make the effort anymore when the overhyped overpaid superstars look at England games as a disturbance to the greed league and lack the passion I had once. We have failed to beat a pathetic Scotland and made hard work of beating Malta but you can bet the arrogant useless pricks who played in those games don’t even worry about it.

                I’d rather have watched Corrie.

Seriously. Dire, sanitised tippy tappy crap.
