Tooked away in this weeks Wigan Observer was a did you know? If Wigan manage to reach the final they will be the first team to reach the finals of the FA Trophy, the Football League Trophy (Auto Windscreen), The League Cup and the FA Cup. Apologies if this has already been mentioned, have not seen it. So much for our little club having no history.

Makerfield Cup
Lancashire Combination CupIt’s going to be a problem if we win the FA Cup of where we’re going to store it.
On which point, and SDW you don’t need to answer, what would you think if the Warriors won the Challenge Cup – and so for the first time in history the FA Cup and Challenge Cup were in the same trophy cabinet? Now that would be a piece of history for the town, wouldn’t it?

I know Springy got rather waterlogged at times, but I’m not sure I’d call it “overseas”.
I think we did win that tournament in the Isle of Man too though, earlier.
