what a total clown you were mate. I was sat a couple of rows behind you and had to tolerate your constant slagging off of Scharner for the whole of the second half.
Did you fail to notice he was carrying an injury through the second half and was crocked again later in the half. Full marks to him for battling on for the cause.
Never fails to amaze me.
We have one of the gutsiest performances i’ve seen for a while, 11 heroes out there tonight who gave absolutely everything. If we keep that level of effort up we will be fine.
Well done lads, up the tics!MS
9 March 2010 at 10:46 am #25774Scharner has been one of the best players this season never fails to give 100% and he has been a great servant to the club.Player of the year contender this season and also we should rememeber that he could have pushed for a move back in january as his contract is up this summer isnt it?
A great servant to Wigan Athletic and that goal against Sheffield utd at Bramhall lane in 2007 will always be remembered by me.

9 March 2010 at 11:36 am #25779I thought this thread was aimed at another idiot holding up a Martinez out sign. What a complete clown, at the end of the game he didn’t seem to unhappy.
As for scharner he had a good game, he would be a top class player if he had that bit extra about him when he has the ball. We played very well last night and hop it will continue into Bolton game9 March 2010 at 12:00 pm #25782I know afew people walked to the Reebock from Wigan in our first PL season
but not sure about having a hop9 March 2010 at 12:02 pm #25783what a total clown you were mate. I was sat a couple of rows behind you and had to tolerate your constant slagging off of Scharner for the whole of the second half.

I have to say that I thought the game passed Scharner by and I was getting very frustrated with him too. Thought your post was aimed at me until I realised I don’t sit in the East ;) I actually thought he contributed more when he was injured, funnily enough. And, to be fair, it is one very picky complaint in an otherwise good performance.I think Bob was about to take him off and replace him with Gomez when Diame got injured and he brought Thomas on instead. Might be wrong there, my timings and recollections are a bit hazy.
