For anybody who has this channel, you might be interested to know that tomorrow, Tuesday 29th December, has them showing official FIFA World Cup films from 1970 onwards, throughout the day.
Some seriously classic football to be seen there. I’m looking forward to the Mexico ’86 one, as that was probably my favourite in my lifetime.
I’ve watched 1970 footage many times, so i’m looking forward to seeing ’74, ’78, ’82, as well as ’86. Every tournament since then has been poor, and more technically driven, rather than flair driven.
