If you look at the cost of some of the players Moyes brought in over his 10 years he spent some serious dosh !.
They’ll never match the spending of the bigger and arab/russian owned clubs but compared with the majority of teams in the UK their not doing too bad.

To improve any, it is the bigger and arab/russian owned clubs that Everton must compete with; compared to them it is fairly accurate to say that Everton have limited money to spendEverton have reportedly spent a net £800,000 per season over the past five years.
That’s not very much! Moyes will certainly be more involved in the transfer market at Old Trafford.

Net spend of about £10m over that period. You appear to be the only person who thinks Everton have any money.
