Millwall lost 2-0 tonight / still to play Derby & Wolves.
Rotherham / to play Reading, Norwich & Leeds. Oh, and the FA.
Tics / to play Wolves & Brentord.
If you doubters are confident of the outcome, go put a monkey on it
Not easy to predict, is it.
Just need to keep our nerve on Saturday and play some brave football ( and hope Noah doesn’t come back to haunt us ).

22 April 2015 at 2:08 am #141525I am still angry about the Millwall game! Lost the plot in a game that we could and should have won, if only eh!
22 April 2015 at 2:16 am #141526Didn’t take our chances in first half, 2nd half Bong wasted a golden opportunity for us to take the lead, choosing to shoot when a simple ball across goal meant a tap in and then Waghorn stupidly reacts to a stamp. Once Pearce had been sent off, even though it was 9 v 10 that was probably the end of the game

Lost the plot in a game that we could and should have won, if only eh!Don’t beat yourself up over that game Fiil, there are numerous home games that we could and should have won. Our away form has not been that of a relegation club, but our home form has.

I am fully aware of the shite home form, I have sat through it all season! It’s just that the Rotherham points deduction business gave us an unexpected lifeline and with Millwall being below us prior to the game I hoped that we would have strengthened our survival hopes but due to some idiocy it went tits up! Let’s just hope that Rotherham lose their game in hand! It’s a slim hope but hope I guess! An average home record would have seen us around mid table and well safe!
22 April 2015 at 10:11 am #141531It will be down to those terrible home results against Rotherham and Millwall.
22 April 2015 at 11:50 am #141534Reading being safe now is a slight worry. Rotherham could win that.
We just need to take 6 points and see what happens. If we stay up, superb. If we go down, we only have ourselves to blame.

Unfortunately I think Rotherham will beat Reading next Tuesday whilst Latics will struggle to get anything against either Wolves or Brentford so I’d imagine even after Rotherham’s points deduction (which I’ve read will be confirmed by close of play Friday) that Latics will be relegated by this time next week
23 April 2015 at 1:52 am #141556Rotherham will beat Reading going off tonight, Readings seasons finished after Saturday in FA Cup. Must admit backed Brum at 5/2 tonight on the back of that and it’ll be doubled up next week.
