It’s a possible proverbial banana skin for Bournemouth if Latics win the replay.

They’re hovering round the relegation area so its likely that Howe will put out a below strength side whilst Cook has shown that he will put out a strong side in the competition.
Latics should have the bit between their teeth with the chance of an upset whilst the Bournemouth players will hopefully see it as a distraction

Last season they got spanked 3-0 at Millwall in the 3rd round so its definitely possible. Plus we’ll have signed loads of really good strikers between the transfer window opening & this game kicking off
