Are the semi finals at Wembley? Ruin the cup final if we got there, a lot of money to fork out going to Wembley twice.
24 January 2010 at 6:54 pm #19436They are
24 January 2010 at 8:14 pm #19447I wouldn’t worry about that for a while.

24 January 2010 at 8:30 pm #19452Only two games off. Get Man City at home in the next round were sorted!
24 January 2010 at 9:08 pm #19454Could get fulham at fulham, that would be awful
24 January 2010 at 9:28 pm #19458We aren’t capable of beating Fulham away if Ghouri or Amaya are playing. If Fulham rest a few, game on.

Fulham couldnt beat Burnley at Burnley, we did.
Fulham lost 2-0 at home to Chelsea, we won.
Fulham lost 2-0 to Vill, we won.
Fulham couldnt beat Bolton at home.
Fulham sit 5 points ahead of us, having played a game more.
We have the same away wins as Man City and the most outside the top 8.
If we can win away at Burnley and Villa, im not worried about Fulham. Not spouting off were gonna win, but its not a draw that will give me sleepless nights.
Nowt like a bit of optimism. :roll:24 January 2010 at 10:27 pm #19483Hmmm, just because we beat the Dingles doesn’t really mean we can beat Fulham away. I hope I’m wrong, but we’ll probably play a weakened team with the likes of Gohouri, Amaya etc and Craven Cottage is a hard place to go.
But on the up side, if we do play our strongest team, and we play well in the games running up to the game. There’s no reason why we can’t win as Fulham aren’t Real Madrid.
And a trip to Wembley would be amazing, even if it wasn’t the final. Or maybe I’m looking a little too far ahead, we still have Notts County to get past!!
24 January 2010 at 10:36 pm #19484With Marco Ruben and Rodallega in the middle to feed off Charles NZogbia’s crosses, I think were about to turn the corner.
A top 10 finish and an FA Cup, do for Bobs first season. ;)24 January 2010 at 10:38 pm #19485With Marco Ruben and Rodallega in the middle to feed off Charles NZogbia’s crosses, I think were about to turn the corner.

24 January 2010 at 10:39 pm #19486Good to see a bit of optimism at last. I hope you’re right about Ruben, by the sounds of things he could be a gem!
25 January 2010 at 1:48 pm #19568Would hope that people would go to a semi if we got there as it could be our only chance to go to the new wembley. Still got to win three games to get that far but it would be nice to get to the “new Wembley” before the fatties do in their once a year attempt to spread the gospel beyond a few pit villages
Beat Notts County
Beat Fulham
Beat winners of Southampton & Pompey. Southampton would have ben a cracking away tie
And we there………26 January 2010 at 8:09 pm #19875Lets hope we go for it. We could start by playing the strongest possible side against Notts County and again the strongest 11 at Fulham. We are a top flight club and and on most occasions the final is between two clubs from the top flight. I think if there is a Latics v Bolton semi final then the FA wont be keeping up this stupid idea of semis at Wembley. 20,000 at the most would be there.
It nice to here the positive opinions though. Come on you blues.27 January 2010 at 5:03 am #19945Anonymous
I think that Fulham have flattered themselves this season, every team in the prem has been sh*t at some point this season. No reason why we can’t reach semi’s…
Now i have said that, Notts county for the win?
