Just been watching Ferguson again having a moan about refs, is it just me, I can’t understand a word he says, has he got a speach defect, the lingo he uses is certainly not a Glasgow accent and for foooks sake he’s been in Manc land for over twenty years. It’s a bit like watching one of those old kung Fu films where their gobs go one way and the sound comes out the other. Surely he should have learned to speak properly by now, god help his players.

Just been reading his autobiography. It’s quite interesting. Has tales of when he owned a pub and started getting drawn into the underworld of Glasgow’s disputes, etc.
That was when he was just coming to the end of his playing career. Says he was relieved to get out of it when he went to Aberdeen. He actually took a paycut to go to United, as well.
I’ve never minded him, and have always defended him, having met him a few years ago. I have also seen him stand for 20 mins signing autographs outside of Old Trafford, and he came across to me as being an alright bloke, different to how he is usually taken to be by people. However, of late, he’s getting on my wick. Does a bloody week go by without him moaning.
Fact. His club will NOT spend on top-quality. Come on? Owen-past it. Valencia-a gamble. Obertan-Don’t know. He know’s he is NOT getting the backing promised by the Glazers…..simply because they’ve put the club in so much debt, and won’t chase the likes of Villa because they’ll have to pay top whack. He sold Ronaldo for 80 Million and only spent, what? 20 odd-30 million on those 3? It’s catching up on them. 3 or 4 players are getting past it as well, Scholes, Giggs, Neville, Van Der Sar. I predict thaty unless they bite the bullet and buy some real quality, they will only go downhill.
They aren’t as good now. No way should they have done us 5-0. I’ve seen them since on TV and they are poor. Very average side. So old Fergie is clutching at straws whenever possible.
