I’m guessing you aren’t a fan of the England football team then Donny? Club before Country?
Just fed up of the perennial failures of England. More a case of being fed up too of matches being cancelled for international breaks. Can not understand the point of it. Plenty midweek days throughout the year internationals can be played on without affecting domestic football.
Not really cancelled as the Internationals are already bookedThe point is, they should be played in midweek as they always used to be without interfering with league matches.
It hasn’t made any difference to our international performances and if anything with all the foreigners in our league it has probably helped our opponents more.
With the size of our Premier League squads and all the rotation of players there really is no need fot the internationl breaks.
Not just us though is it?No, you are right, FIFA have probably demanded all FA’s to do the same.
Some of the World Cup qualifiers are in June, what’s all that about? The season has finished and everyone is on holiday or watching cricket. None of it is neccessary, and its just another money making scheme at the expense of the real fans.
UEFA haven’t yet, but will probably soon try to bring in Champions League breaks next. It is all becoming a farce and pissing a lot of people off.England could play ten matches a year over ten months in mid-week. That would eliminate any reason whatsoever for the domestic season to suffer through matchless weekends during the season.
You guys are forgetting the most important governing body in football, TV. Like club football internationals have also been sold out to to the big bucks. I hate FIFA with a passion but all football Worldwide is bossed by Tele money so no point in moaning about it.

Moaning about it won’t help like you say, but we have to make our thoughts heard in some way.
Trouble is horc fixtures are being planned and played for TV viewing purposes in far flung countries not just the domestic market. I’m surprised we ain’t playing games in the small hours just to suit the American viewing figures.
