Thought we played well today in parts, but the goals we conceded were poor.
Hopefully this isn’t another season of throwing away leads, but there were definitely some good signs.
Fans have got to accept that our Championship team has been shredded by
the Admins, we are down to bare-bones to our previous teams and we
are building a team from scratch and with no money.You have to commend the players under the testing circumstances. I’m just glad to see a team put out there and in a new kit,

Assume Morsy was missing as he may get sold?
I didn’t watch so don’t know how we playedThe third Fleetwood goal was a good header from Evans, our lot made it easy for him though, schoolboy defending, not one single person challenged Evans giving him a free header!
That said the other two Fleetwood goals could easily have been avoided, we are going to struggle this season i’m afraid.

Just glad to see the team start the season after so much turmoil and to be honest i didnt care a stuff about the result in that ( now the prem clubs are involved) tin pot competion.
Results are the least of our worries in my opinion however surely there is a future if contracts are being signed etc so a completion of sale must be a bit closer ?The worrying thing was most of Fleetwood team was youth players.
Where do you get that from?
I’ve just looked on Fleetwood’s website. 2 of the players don’t have their ages shown (actually one of them isn’t actually shown so could be a new signing), but of the other 9, one of them is 20, 6 are aged between 23 and 28, and the other 2, Coutts and Whelan are both ex Premier League players in their early 30’s.
.I’m working with a Fleetwood and that’s what he said .they have players to come in and he reckons they finish mid table..
Morsy refused to play at Fleetwood apparently, he wants a move, last i heard Warnock/Middlesborough were sniffing around.
