Friday July 23rd
Myself, The Doctor, Pauletta and Nicholas arrived at Stansted Airport around 1pm, checked in and headed for the Bar. After the 1st pints had been consumed the discussion turned to wondering just how many beers would be had between the 4 of us during the duration of the trip. Quids were thrown in and results ranged from 299 to 405.
We landed at Llubjana around 8 after a 2 hour delay and landed in a torrential thunderstorm! Where was the 35 degrees heat that we had been promised?
A bus was then taken into town and we arrived in our luxury abode/hotel/hostel and checked in. Then we headed into town for a few quiet drinks and a bite to eat. The discussion soon turned to fashion and wondering why Nicholas was still wearing a pair of 80s socks. We would have to sort that out!
That about it for day 1!
