On the bright side, only 5 of your last 11 home games are at “Fortress DW”. Alas, 3 of the next 4 on the road are at Liverpool, Chelsea & Arsenal.
That said, with the last two fixtures against Blackburn & Wolves, I reckon you’ll still be in the mix come kick-off at Ewood Park as the bottom 5 are so much worse than everyone else this season.

we did not play 4 4 2 today, we played sammon whos fucking shit, up front, and god only knows why, he cant hold it up, cant head it, clueless,and we played di santo our best forward of late out on the wing, the same position we play rodders when di santo is up front.

From were I was sitting it was Absi in goal, left back MF, right back EB, CH, Caldwell and Alcaraz, midfield, two Maccas, Gomez and Jean B, up front Franco and Connor.Now tell me what is not 4-4-2 about that? :ohmy:

What a journey!The only consolation, if you can call it that, is the “play 2 up front brigade” might just realise that we haven’t got the quality players to play that formation and will lose midfield and therefore lose the game. :angry:We lose the midfield when we play 4-5-1

Give up !! It was never that so don’t even try to go there !! We have a half decent back 4 and fuck all else !!

In my opinion there was no formation change from the way we have been playing in the last few weeks. Al Habsi in goal, 3 centre halves – Fig, Alcaraz and Caldwell. Boyce and Beausejour wing backs. 2 maccas and Gomez in centre mid, Sammon up front with Di Santo behind him. I think Moses has been playind the Di santo role in recent weeks. It is almost a free role, hence the reason he often ends up on the wing.
Whatever the formation he has to get Diame back in that team with Rodders up front. He will be putting himself in the shop window until the end of the season
