Sounds a bit ” My Dads bigger than your Dad ” to me !
15 May 2010 at 12:10 am #33496he looks like a right t1t with that viking helmet on. just the same as when you see grown men wearing jesters hats at football matches. i would not even bother speaking to him as i would be scared that he might get so wound up he would have a heart attack as he looks like a heart attack waiting to happen. to me he just looks like your stereo typical rugby numpty. as for him saying latics hooligans(in the past yes) well thats just laughable as they seem to have a massive problem at the moment. just ask the steward who got his jaw broken at the the st helens v the w@nk staines game!!
15 May 2010 at 12:38 am #33498Just noticed some of the groups them lot have set up on facebook aswell.
“Wigan is a rugby town.not a football town”.
“The JJB belongs to Wigan Warriors”
Do they honestly believe this or just massively deluded?

15 May 2010 at 2:22 am #33509There is definitely more of a problem from them, than us. Make no mistake about it, this guy would LOVE us to fail at everything we do….Well Wigan rugby were once the number one team in this town, there’s no denying that. Yet there was no real bitterness from our fans because quite frankly we didn’t (and still don’t) care about their game. Most of us cared about their success as much as Wigan’s badminton/hockey/netball team if they were the nations best team in their sport. They all watch football, everyone does, however they don’t like us despite being from Wigan. And yet they bang on about pride and loyalty when it comes to their game.
They were almost like the playground bully in the town before we almost came from nowhere to recieve just as much attention not only from the local public but from the local media as our egg chasing cousins. Then we continued to flourish and overtake them in every way possible in popularity stakes both locally, nationally and internationally. They were no longer the big boy in the playground. They were not just overtaken, but overtaken by the very same people they used to look down on and make fun of for years.
So you can understand why they would be bitter, cant you.

I think they honestly believe it.
The guy didn’t like me standing up to him and refusing to back down, so he severed our link. In other words, he didn’t get his own way……
so he took his (odd shaped) ball home.
But not before accusing me of being racist. The cheek of it! After how he started the thread, posting about how many “white” players Latics have.
If Mr Whelan wants one big reason as to why people will not accept his theory of ‘2 clubs, one town’, then it is down to people like this. There is definitely more of a problem from them, than us. Make no mistake about it, this guy would LOVE us to fail at everything we do…….and he is a friend of Maurice Lindsay. [/quote]
Dave,
I don’t know you other than through the messages you post on here, but some observations.1. If he’s a wind up merchant then he’s definately reeled you in.
2. If he’s not, and he’s so wound up about Latics, then why argue with him. You just fuelling his hatred of all things Wigan Athletic and football in general.
3. What you said on facebook could very well be considered racist and that gave him another excuse to have a go at you.Don’t want to come over all grandad and how to suck eggs, but why don’t you just leave it.
15 May 2010 at 4:21 am #33514sammy what did he say as i committed face book suicide last year so can not log on to this rumpus. i do not like racism though as its a pet hate of mine. we all live on the same planet
i can still dislike wigan rugby though even though we live on the same planet ;)
15 May 2010 at 5:39 am #33515i know its half past 2 in the morning and all but after sammy said that your remarks dave were racist on facebook i was intrigued as i seem to remember reading early on yesterday evening your original post?. you said that he called you a racist and you said how can i be a racist as we have black players in the latics team?. were as that gone dave? why have you airbrushed it out of your original post?. jay t i hope your not condoning racism on this site or perhaps you edited the post yourself?. was you not banned for racism on mud hutters dave?.its one thing having a dislike of another team but when it gets to racism it makes my stomach churn
or perhaps just as i committed facebook suicide your committing cockney latics suicide just as you did on mudhutters ? just a thought like?
what times your flight on monday dave ;)
15 May 2010 at 10:14 am #33516Dave – best breakdown yet. Who you coming back as this time ala Doctor Who metamorphis?
Sad.
15 May 2010 at 10:53 am #33517I wouldn’t worry mate he should be encouraged to jump off the Humber bridge or maybe you could make him a nice cocktail ,maybe some cyanide washed down with antifreeze. Hmmm, maybe poison or a violent death is a bad idea as we could do with harvesting his organs for someone more deserving. Nevertheless, hate is not always a negative emotion after all I’m delighted Labour lost the election and one of their MP’s got stabbed by a disaffected constituent so chin up and have a jolly good time. I’m sure someone will stab Mr Heyes with a bit of luck!
On second thoughts this Mr Heyes it wouldn’t happen to be you would it? Having a schizo moment?
