Memorable friendlies from the past?
Moscow Torpedo at Springy cant remember much but Phil Hughes was goalie for us
On another note about friendlies do people think like I do that the first team do not get enough pre season friendlies against decent opposition to get ready for the season and hence our annoying slow early season starts
I would like us to play at the giant axe,home of Lancaster city,we played them pretty often once upon a time,and the city as some great pubs :P
I would love to see us play AJAX at the DW ive seen them quite a few times they are my overseas club.Those iconic red and white shirts always look great.

One thing always stuck in my memory though in the Moscow Torpedo game,
The ball went into touch just in front of me (I was leaning on the wall)
a Torpedo player picked up the ball Johnny king comes running over shouting to the Torpedo player “give me the f***ing ball you Russian t**t”
