Looking forward to this on Saturday night!
Very hard fight to predict after last time. Bookies have Froch slight favourite.
If I had to call it I would go for Groves (just). The last fight must have taken a lot out of Froch at his age and Groves feels he has something to prove after the debateable stoppage last time.
On the other hand, if it goes past half way, Froch’s extra experience will really come into it, like last time and this fight could go the same way as the last with Froch winning late on.
Either way, it’s going to be a tear up, as Nigel Benn used to say
30 May 2014 at 4:07 pm #131570I think Froch will win it.
I watched the last one & although the stoppage at the time that it came was unfair, I’ve no doubt that Froch would have gone on to win by virtue of a stoppage shortly afterwards – later that round, maybe the next or the one after.
Froch underestimated Groves last time & is unlikely to make the same mistake twice & the thing is that despite the first round knock down & being way behind on the cards, Froch took everything that Groves threw at him, took it & then was able to assert himself on the fight as it wore on & Groves tired.
Groves put everything he had into that last fight & still lost, albeit unfairly, but I think he’d have gone on to lose anyway. For Groves to win, I think he’ll have to go at it from the off like he did last time but maintain it beyond round 5-6, against a fighter who will be more prepared for what he can throw than last time & I just don’t think he has it in him
Hope I’m wrong though

Saves paying Sky Box Office rip off prices
1 June 2014 at 1:59 am #131609I saw Froch sparring with Eubank Jnr and Eubank pasted him. Euban/Eubank jnrs have just done an interview and jnr says he knows who’ll win. I think he means Groves.
I hope I’m wrong. Cockney prick.
Anyway they’re coming out and it’s potentially the best fight we might ever see.
