Shall we have a sweep for how many Fulham bring tomorrow….
I’ll go for 233
14 January 2011 at 1:09 pm #55422Apparently as of yesterday afternoon they’s sold 1100 tickets.
14 January 2011 at 1:20 pm #55426Lets not be too dismissive of their support
they know this is a big game – so I predict they will bring in excess of what have been before
I will go for just under 1500 – oh and I bet they make some noise as well
14 January 2011 at 1:25 pm #55428oh and I bet they make some noise as wellThe implication being we won’t?
Is there anything Latics-related you aren’t prepared to have a pop at?
14 January 2011 at 1:37 pm #55429Morning Griff
Implication ? no just my opinion

Oh, so the fact that you think Fulham fans will make some noise at a football match is a post-worthy comment? Cool, carry on.
14 January 2011 at 1:50 pm #55437with regard to our own lot – it will be the usual stuff
very quiet for the first 20 minutes whilst we take in which team of ours has turned up
14 January 2011 at 3:46 pm #55461Fulham’s are probably the only away support which mirror’s our own at the moment so I’ll be amazed if they bring 1,100 or up to 1,500
Fair play to em if they do coz I couldn’t see us taking that many down there if we were in their situation
Currently getting all misty eyed remembering the league game there in 1997 when we filled the away end at Craven Cottage on that sunny day where David Lowe put us in front to bedlam from the Latics faithful only for one of their men to cheat us late on – I seem to remember someone diving for a penalty
my memory’s a bit hazy coz the night before a mate of mine had got paint on his pants after booting a paint can somewhere in west London & we tried to get it off using the dregs from a petrol pump. Only problem was that those petrol fuelled pants were then left out in our hotel room overnight & the pair of us were high as kites in the morning!!!
15 January 2011 at 12:56 am #55499You never know, that weird neutral stand lot from CC may all come up and fill the North. :P
