My best friend and true Tics Mon lost his 3 year fight against brain cancer yesterday at the age of 42. RIP pal.
2 March 2014 at 12:08 pm #128008Gary was a great bloke. I used to travel home and away with him watching Latics and although our paths crossed less frequently when my daughter started coming and we moved to the family stand he was always warm generous and funny when I did see him. I have great memories of him and my thoughts are with his Family and close friends. RIP Gary a true Gent.

Despite being a regular visitor for a number of years.
Gary was my friend, originally from school since the tender
Age of four, all the way through to leaving school and
going our seperate ways in life. We occasionally bumped
Into each other but it was only when he started to follow
the Tics that out paths crossed again. He started to go
with his best friend and co worker Steve and as a result
with all of us being crazy on Latics we started to travel
together all over the country watching our pride and joy
with Steves dad always our designated driver!!
We had many stories and adventures during our years
travelling with Wigan with many laughs and scrapes along
the way!Now we have gone our seperate way again, never
imagining that something like this would ever happen yet?
Gary was a top bloke with a cheerful persona who will be
sadly missed by all his footballing family!
Rest in peace Cocky.10 March 2014 at 5:53 am #128419That ones for you Gary. The boys did you proud!
