Just watched it and seeing the likes of butcher,pearce,gazza,shilton,waddle and the passion,team spirit and how proud they were to be playing for there country HEROS, Hope capello and the clowns watched it.Terry butcher summed it up he said you look at the 3 lions and nothing else matters

I think you will also find that besides the passion of the players, luck played huge part in us getting to the semi. Refs and other teams didnt hate us as much as they do now..

Maybe we werelucky to score the goal so late in the game, but through the world cup we seemed to ride our luck, mainly the cameroon game.
I’m thinking of that cruel deflection off Paul Parker that looped over Shilton, into the net, for the German goal.
Not much luck there.
