No – I don’t mean postings we disagree with by our regulars.
I mean postings that seem to be a random collection of apparently nonsensical paragraphs from newspapers etc, usually posted by someone who has registered today.
My understanding of this is that spammers post “test posts” to sites. If they come back to the site and it’s not been removed then the way is open for them to post the real spam.
I have just deleted (and banned) two posts like this today. If you spot one can you please (a) not respond to it, but (b) just click report to moderator. We will then take the appropriate action.
