We are desperate for someone who puts the ball in the back of the net. We could (and probably should have been) 4 or 5 up on Saturday, but due to poor positioning, decision making and finishing we weren’t and it cost us the game. It isn’t the first time and won’t be the last time it happens.
We need to spend money (and I mean £6m or £7m +) on a goal scorer and not someone who can hold the ball up.

I would hold a pre-match trial, an hour before the next home game, for 20 random speccies, and whichever can do the most keepie ups, gets to start ahead of Scotland. Said Trial will also be an inquest into why our ever so lovable, ever so inept favourite spaniard, keeps on playing the pineapple headed t1t.

Fair point a £6 – £7m striker would be the ideal choice, but without guarantees and the faithful latics following support it would be a big risk. Maybe buying 2 strikers at half that would give better results?
I dont think our major problem is with the striker at the moment..
The major problem is we need an alternative striker can’t rely on rodders and jason all the time (get’s tin helmet ont yed )
all good players require decent wages to join any club if you pay peanuts you get monke`ys …..not sure if i should refrase that but you know what i mean.
