FIFA have decided it is time to help out refs with goal line decisions, but is this going far enough?
Surely help all over the pitch is warranted, what is the percentage of mistakes that goal line errors make up, I reckon it is very low compared to say penalty (and sending off for the offence) claims.

With regard to goal-line technology, you would think it will be quite easy to implement.
I am thinking the ball will contain a micro-chip of some kind that will trigger a sensor that shows the ball has crossed completely behind the line, it doesn’t seem to be too much of a challenge for the boffins. You only have to wonder why it hasn’t been done sooner.
