they showed today how good they really are, their passing(all 4 of them) and ball control are dire.
amaya and sinclair could be down to lack of games, the other 2 from swansea need to be got rid of NOW,and please dont come back with the ‘scotland scored rubbish’.
23 January 2010 at 11:20 pm #19331but he DID score!
24 January 2010 at 4:30 pm #19413AND it was a good move started by GOMEZ, played to SCOTLAND who did a nice one two with Hugo and finished it nicely with his weaker foot.

24 January 2010 at 4:45 pm #19417Its quite amazing really how some of the fans can read negativities in the game.
It wasn’t a league game, it was The FA Cup. Being a Latics fan, surely you must realise playing a top flight club doesnt mean you’re out. This is what makes The FA Cup.
A league 1 side has knocked out The Champions…..
Sutton 2-1 Coventry
Wrexham 2-1 Arsenal
Hereford 2-1 Newcastle
Liverpool 0-1 Wimbledon
I could go on and on, wonder how Chelsea felt all those years ago.
If you want to know your team is going to win, you need to watch Scottish football. I love football because its so unpredictable and nobody can guarantee anyone beating anyone. If we get through to the next round, we could beat Arsenal or get knocked out by Southampton. I wouldn’t want it any other way.24 January 2010 at 4:51 pm #19419Its quite amazing really how some of the fans can read negativities in the game.

24 January 2010 at 7:39 pm #19439Lee Hughes is ten times the player Scotland is and he showed it today.

I think Scotland, Amaya and Gomez were indeed inept. Sinclair was also inept, but his total lack of effort makes him even more guilty. I think he has seen young Sturridge getting first team time at Chelsea and doesn’t think he should have to be grafting at Wigan.
You have certainly correctly identified the biggest four culprits in a totally unacceptable first-half effort. At least we showed a bit of pride to fight back into it late on.
Even Rodallega showed nothing until he threw his toys out at N’Zogbia.
I can’t help feeling, by the way, that that lacksadaisical performance wouldn’t have happened with Caldwell on the pitch.
