Isn’t the bloke on the end, Wigan Manager, a Man City season ticket holder? Sure I read it somewhere.Not sure about Wane being a City fan but Lockers has tweeted good luck messages to Wigan Athletic on a number of occasions and prior to the Stoke survival game posted a picture of himself with half his face painted blue with a comment relating to both teams playing at the same time in big games.
Not keen on the rugby but it would be good to see the challenge cup along side the fa cup in the town not sure if its been done in the same season before any were else
Apparently it hasn’t no.
I hoped one day both clubs would sit at the top of the league in their respective sports but we lost 4-0 to Blackpool when there was a good chance and Wigan RL were pretty crap when Latics spent a few hours there. Hopefully come August 24th both will be their sports cup holders.
