I predominantly use Google Chrome but it won’t show the option tabs ? I have had to come on to IE to start this thread because the ‘New Topic’ tab isn’t showing on Chrome? Are there any settings or suchlike that can have Chrome show the tabs? The confusing thing is that sometimes they show? :S
14 August 2014 at 8:52 pm #132780I use Chrome, Phil, and everything is OK with mine.
The only possibiltiy may be in script settings and how your settings are affecting you viewing the database. I can’t really suggest where to start, to be honest without looking at the whole settings, and even then I’d be guessing, but just to let you know there’s nothing intrinsically in Chrome that would prevent you from seeing the tabs.
Maybe John Heeley has an idea?

17 August 2014 at 11:37 pm #132854Have you tried switching it off and then switching it back on again?
Export your bookmarks to a folder on the desktop so that you don’t lose them. Uninstall Chrome. Reboot your computer. Get a clean copy of Chrome from ‘FileHippo’. Import your bookmarks from the folder on your desktop.
It could be just a corrupt copy – doing this little exercise could probably solve your problem, and you will have the most up-to-date copy of the browser.
Give it a try – nothing to lose really
18 August 2014 at 4:25 am #132856I have the screen size set to 150% ( I don’t really need glasses ! ) and when I reduce it I do get more tabs for options ?
18 August 2014 at 2:00 pm #132859Set at 150%? – does your screen now have the ‘scroll’ bars on the right hand side and bottom of your screen? If so, your browser is working fine you just need to scroll the page up/down to see the tabs. If not, then I would uninstall and get a clean browser put on.
18 August 2014 at 3:57 pm #132860No scroll bar at bottom of screen, in fact I can increase screen zoom to as much as 200% and still no scroll bar at bottom?
18 August 2014 at 7:44 pm #132864OK – last two tips from me. Right click desktop and make sure your screen resolution is 1024×768. If this does not fix it then reset Google Chrome Theme to “default” to see if this clears it up.
(F1 button sometimes debugs problems like this as well (oh! that’s 3 tips, ah well) – good luck)
