tuesday thread ;)indeed you have
Its usually latics that are a laughing stock with stuff like this but listening to ex liverpool legends on the radio they are not impressed with the way the scousers are doing things, one comment was its turned into a circus :silly:29 May 2012 at 12:00 am #88197this whole escapade is a complete shambles
from top to bottom,i hope bob has more sense than to join the liverfool circus29 May 2012 at 1:43 am #88206The only circus going on here are the ones started by the media and impatient fans from both Wigan and Liverpool.
I think we all know what the crack is, DW has said it enough times over the past couple of days, but I’ll spell it out again for you.Liverpool have offered Bobby the managers job.
Bobby wants full control of football matters at Liverpool, but they want a Director of Football to take care of talent spotting and transfer selection. So there is another meeting planned for Tuesday, whereby either one of the parties backs down and meets the full terms of the other or, both parties agree to meet half way, or the deal is dead in the water and Bobby returns to the fold at Wigan, to get on with making plans for next season.
DW has also said he wants a decision from Martinez by Thursday so he can start the recruitment process.
So if you want to trawl the websites like News-now and other media rumour mungering sites, then that’s up to you, but don’t come back on here moaning about this situation being like a circus.
Just wait to see what happens some time between tomorrow and Thursday and it will be announced on SSN first, like it always his.

29 May 2012 at 6:05 pm #88242So if you want to trawl the websites like News-now and other media rumour mungering sites, then that’s up to you, but don’t come back on here moaning about this situation being like a circus. What’s wrong in expressing frustration with what clearly is a ridiculously hyped and speculated topic JR? I’ve never witnessed anything like this, so surely this site is one place you would come and discuss (sorry “moan” about) it.
And how different is it to viewing and commenting on betting odds, which are clearly built on the same lies and rumours that we’re reading?? :huh:29 May 2012 at 6:37 pm #88243Anonymous

That i disagree with, bookies don’t take risk’s. they have inside rat’s everywere making sure they don’t get turned over.
Do you think they would leave Rodgers at 3/1 if they knew he had given them the nod to an interview ?. Or pushed Martinez out to 3/1 if he was nailed on for the job and risk getting battered at the till’s ?.
You’ll never see a bookie driving a Ford Escort .If Rodgers is odd’s on and Martinez 3’s they know something for sure.
29 May 2012 at 7:31 pm #88245OR the fact that bookies, in these types of cases, are driven by the money going on a manager and they reduce teh odds accordingly.
So money may be going on Rodgers, but a rumoutr has sparked panic, ala petrol shortage panic, and the money has flown on.

The facts they based their odds on in this instance was the chairman of Wigan athletic coming out publicly that Liverpool had made an offer to Martinez. How far away from a rumour is that then?
PS There is a horse running at Chepstow’s 2:30pm race tomorrow called Bermondsay Bob. Bookies are offering 10/1 for it as its rumoured to be a donkey following several out of frame finishes already this year.
Actually the horse is none other than Kuato Star that has been painted white to hide its identity. Get all your readies on it. B) :PFrom Matlock to ManU
