What a well earned, hard fought three nurps that was today. Coventry made it really difficult for us and at times, so did the ref!!. :woohoo:
MOM for me was Donovan Daniels, closely followed by Morsy and Perkins. These are the games that win you promotion, very much similar to the Rochdale game. Teams set themselves up to contain us at home, throwing bodies on the line.
We are seeing all the various sides to our team this season, one that can knock it about and score for fun and also one who can grind out results like we’ve seen today.
Well done GC, another step closer to the Championship and as I expected, the teams around us cannot cope with injuries and suspensions, like we can.
Bring on the Donny! :cheer:

What a journey!9 April 2016 at 10:49 pm #147967Wasnt at the game today due to work, but agreed JR, a fabulous win & as you say this is a team that can score for fun & grind out results when needed.
Well done to GC, the team & to oldham & scunthorpe for helping us out. :)9 April 2016 at 11:18 pm #147971Its looking good that table. I have heard there are big celebrations in the North East. Newcastle fans have just realised Ryan Taylor doesn’t play for Latics.

Pedant alert…..It’s actually Donervon Daniels! Unless he’s started learning the guitar! :)

Play guitar and harmonica at the same time like Donovan and you’re hailed as a genius.
Stick cymbals between your knees at the same time and you’re considered a weirdo!
