So the FA are considering taking action against Bob. Brilliant !

I accept that the FA must protect officials from certain managers who used to abuse the ref/linesmen every time they lost a game. But this case is far different. Bob is known as being the most mild mannered manager going, and Saturday’s first goal was the most bizarre decision in a season of bizarre decisions. The guy should be applauded for keeping relatively calm. He said it was a disgusting decision – IT WAS a disgusting decision.

I do sympathise with the officials and it always makes me laugh when the pundits watch the 10th slow motion replay from all angles and then pronounce that the linesman got it wrong.

However in this case ,instead of looking at Bob’s words the FA should be looking at this particular linesman and asking why he got that easy decision so badly wrong. Pure incompetence , big team bias or something more sinister – I’m no longer sure.

I think they may just be guessing that the FA are considering taking action. I seriously doubt any of that army of over paid and out of touch suits will be working on a bank holiday! I have to agree, in the public’s eyes, Bob did not say anything controversial. They should perhaps concentrate their efforts looking at a certain Liverpool ‘manager’.
