A fivers a rip off.
Is Yootha still here?
Yip, nil-nil.
No width, nothing up front. Awfull.19 July 2017 at 2:38 am #160491If Cooky has learned just one thing I hope it’s that Callum Lang must start before Bogle. I forgave him for struggling against prem league players last Friday but struggling against centre halves who had bigger guts than me? WTF.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!19 July 2017 at 2:51 am #160492Agree with you there JR. He was like a cart horse. Will have to have a lot more pace to play up top on his own.
The whole set up just looked like a continuation of Caldwell and Yootha. Slow passing out from the back and just so bloody boring.19 July 2017 at 3:36 am #160493As expected
Normal Service Resumed19 July 2017 at 4:46 am #160494Remember last seasons friendlies when we couldn’t score ? What did we all say ? “Well they are just warm up games”. What followed that season was a continuation. I was one of those who was chuffed when we signed Bogle but from what I’ve seen since his arrival has been a major disappointment and certainly way off what we need a striker to be. My money on Rovers to pee this league….Dack great signing also keeping hold of Danny Graham(so far) will serve them well. They smashed York 8-0 last night with 6 different scorers…York on a par with Southport.I really do hope these friendlies mean nothing.
19 July 2017 at 10:52 am #160495Not a lot of other options when the other two strikers are injured. Agree on Bogle, when he went through three times against Leeds and never looked like scoring I thought then this fellas shite. The fact once he actually ended up running back towards our goal whilst Powell flung his arms in despair said it all. His moaning all the time winds me up too. Now’s the time for Cook to find these things out
19 July 2017 at 11:41 am #160496You’d expect a striker with any ounce of decency to thrive and stand out in a game like this, no disrespect to Southport.
When I read last week that we may be selling Bogle in order to bring Eoin Doyle in, I was against the idea and thinking it a bad move. I’ve changed my mind now. I think Bogle has ability, but is very lazy. We just have to trust that Paul Cook will do what needs to be done, and if that means shipping him out and bringing a new man in, then so be it. Bogle is very frustrating. Constantly offside and looking lackadaisical…Nathan Ellington if you recall, could also look that way, but would then pop up and score a goal out of nothing. We KNEW he was class.
Unfortunately, I think we know Bogle is shite.
