I dont even think Thomas is the worst player we have in the squad at the moment never mind the worst player ever.
For me that goes to Peron apart from his debut where he had a stormer. If my memory serves me right it was Wolves in the FA cup?I think with the need to start being more positive, Bob needs to start with only one holding midfielder and for me that should be MacArthur.
Thomas has been one of the better performers this season for me.

Thomas has been steady for most of this season. Fair enough he imploded against Villa and cost us the points, but I think it’s unfair to stick him in the Pat Gavin category off the back of one game.
Joe paladino , chris duffy , john Robertson , steve Morgan & joe jakub in defence David Campbell jeff peron & john lowey in midfield and in attack steve taylor ,Wayne entwistle & lee Ashcroft . Class acts the lot of them if we only had em this season we would be be in this mess!
