      Brighton rumoured to have table a 3 million bid for Powell…..got a gut wrenching feeling we may lose him today.Blackburn shown their intent by telling Dacks suitors to feck off……does the chairman/ manager think that we have done the donkey work now and promotion in the bag so it wouldn’t be a drastic loss ????…Surely not…..what about building for the possible championship season……ffs I hope they have a bit more ambition than that.Would our potential new owners have a say in any sale ?????

        Look everyone of our players has got a price. In Powell’s case anything less than 10 million is charity. 3 million is an insult.

            If I were Sharpe, I’d be taking Jackson, Cook, Powell, Grigg, Burn and Morsy out for a late dinner tonight. Nice posh place, with mobile phones ALL switched off. Where the chatter is all LATICS, Promotion and drawing City. Leave the restaurant at about 11.05pm, when phones can be switched on again.

            Seriously, I’d do that.A £350 restaurant bill would be the best money we could spend on this deadline day.

                  How much did we get for Yanic again? All the valuations I’ve seen for Powell have ben comically low, but I guess they’re taking into account his injury record and less-than-successful time at Man Utd. I’d like to think we’d get £10m but bet we’d settle for £3.5,.

                                  I don’t want him to go but if we play hard ball with Brighton and refuse to let him go then will it mean we could lose Walton if he is recalled.
