Probably just a rumour, but I hear that Powell isn’t in love with playing football, like Jimmy Bullard for example.

Not entering a willy-waving contest but I heard that months back, so seems more recently backed up then.
Seems to have some truth.I’ve heard that and also he nearly quit football completely a couple of years ago because he couldn’t be doing with the all the pressure
