I think this is a sign of the ambitions Wigan Athletic have and is a real coup. This signing should give everyone associated with WAFC a large boost.
Yanic must really feel wanted here as I am sure someone with his talent could have gone to any club in the Championship.
I didn’t expect Boro to let him go and I certainley didn’t expect us to be able to get him once Boro made it clear he would be available.I was eexpecting one of the mid yable Championship clubs tp come in and get him.
Well done to everyone involved in acheiving this signing, now get him on the training ground practicing his defensive duties.C’mon Wigan.

Will get a rousing reception when he comes on for the last fifteen minutes to turn the game around or liven it up. Only joking. Just hope our out of position centre backs and left backs shape better at the front of goal then Yan may just be sitting out the game with Davies.
At Scunny he showed beltin pace beating their back four only to shoot and it went for a throwing “shite” i shouted but so glad hes signed if he gets his game together we’ve got a bargain.
