Well, I think we will go down….
some say we will stay up….
and one day go to wembley…..
to win the FA Cup.

But if it doesn’t happen…..
and one day Gigg Lane we must go….
with that god awful pitch…..
that makes the ball run slow.

We’ll still follow the Latics…..
Our Boys in Blue and White.
Get behind our players……
the fans all re-unite.

So if we stay in the top flight….
or end up down in third…..
it really just will not matter…..
So I will say no further word.

What about true old skool?
There’s nothing quite like
A well formed Haiku.

(Of course that would have been much more impressive had I actually written a Haiku!)

I’ll still go in harder times
Contrary to popular belief
I’ll still be here in times of grief

Relatively new at 10 years
I admire my Latics peers
Their belief is second to none
They’ll still be here when most have gone

My 11th season will be with them
In the Championship or the Prem
All for one and one for all
We are Wigan and we stand tall !
