What day does everyone want the Southampton game on ? my preference is Friday night can’t see it being Saturday because Oldham play Portsmouth Saturday 17th and the police won’t want Portsmouth and Southampton traveling north together (naughty naughty).

Our game will be the least attractive of the round for the broadcasters so it’ll be played in whatever slot traditionally gets the worst viewing figures.
I think Sunday’s are the biggest TV draw so I’d say either a 5.30pm/12.30pm Saturday kick off or Monday night again

Speaking of ties….

A few years back, I went down to Dudley in the Black Country for a bit of a mooch. Did a bit of shopping and had some fantastic faggots and peas for my dinner. Washed down with a pint of Banks’. Spot on.

The best bit though was when I went for a look round in a vintage clothes shop. I had a 70s fancy dress do coming up.
Well, they had the lot, platform shoes, bell bottom flares, velvet jackets in purple, it was like a Slade fans dream. I was spoilt for choice. I said to the woman behind the counter…

“can you get me a kipper tie, love?”

She replied…..

“how many sugars?”

We are travelling out and back Mon/Fri afternoons so hope it will be Sat or Sun so we’ve a chance of getting it on telly somewhere
