I really don’t understand all this Powell bashing.
He is one of the most talented players we have had. I don’t think people realise he is still very young and learning his trade. I don’t see him as lazy at all, if anything he tries to be involved in too much.
Gary Caldwell has stated that he isn’t fully fit yet, and when he is, we will have one of the best midfielders outside the PL.
Leave the lad alone and get behind him and the team and everything will come together.
He would be one of my first names on the teamsheet every week.No one’s bashing him i think we all want the lad to do well, like Donny says he “needs to prove himself” personally i would give him a size 9 up his jacksie.
Fuck the EFL
Utd thought he was a talent once. Others had him on loan but must have had some reason not to sign him. He had a few good games here under Coyle. He may shine here. Again who knows.
Bruce wanted to sign him at Hull and spat his dummy out and resigned when he was told no.
You must be wearing jam jar bottoms for specs if you think he’s lazy. For me he wastes far to much energy doing stuff that the defence and defensive midfielders should do,
I love watching the lad play, he has talent way beyond is years, he is a bit of wild card and will take some managing, lets hope he has grown up a bit and knuckles down and gets fully fit.A 100% Nick Powell will be the stand out player in the Championship by a country mile. B)
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!Well we all hope so JR. We have given him a great opportunity now. So it is up to Nick to prove himself in a consistent manner. A return to the Coyle era performances will do for starters.
Well if the young kid we bought from Bolton is as good as GC seems to think then surely he must come in somewhere. On Nick, Jeff Wright springs to mind.
