Admit it if you were one of the few at Springfield who used to shout this out as the teams came out. He used to give us a wave most of the time as well. Must have felt sorry for us or wondered were we the earliest examples of the goverments care in the community policy. Honestly though wasnt it just a good laugh going then. At 2.40 on a satdy afternoon entering the ground and looking at the pop side and guessing the gate at that time. How many times we used to have fatasies about how big Springy could be and how we could develop it. Could have still had a 25000 all seater at Springy, no trouble. I wonder what Hughsey is up to now? Good keeper that lad and worthy of those cheers. Shame that others didnt see Springfield Park was worthy. All our memories and all our dreams are still with that place and indeed there are many and many more to come at New Springfield. Wish we could sign a keeper called Hughes and then that chant could ring out again.
