That some people actually think that Rooney is a better player than Messi !! Two different styles but Messi is the complete package and is streets ahead of Rooney. Better than Maradona and Pele ??? I think he can be ! He has now scored nearly 80 goals in just over 90 games !!! I saw both Maradona and Pele in their respective heydays and this Messi kid is looking better ! What do we think then ????Discuss…..
The players the Spanish League are so technically gifted it’s ridiculous, as Messi has shown. The physicality of the Premier League would make alot of them (like Robinho and Deco) look like poorer players. I think if Messi came to the Premier League then we’d think he was a poorer player. But his technical ability means he’ll still be a very good player.
I beg to differ there Duke !! Players like Messi come along maybe once a decade ! That kid would adapt to any style of play as he is clearly gifted. Take last years final against Utd ( Prem side ) made them look foolish and totally outshone Ronaldo !!
Fair play filmoss glad that you didn’t get aggressive just because we have a difference in opinion unlike others. I do still see similarities with Messi and Robinho however.

I actually felt sorry for the Duke when he came on as a sub when West Brom beat us only to be taken straight back off again because someone got sent off !!!

I think he would need to start every game to bring the full potential out of – the very much undervalued at £10m – Hugo.
stoke have quite a few carthorses! i think the biggest carthorses in the league is heiradersson (spelling) of portsmouth hes bobbins how he didnt get sent off against wigan when valencia skinned him about 14 times is beyond me!
