with the stoke match still a week away would it not have been possible for the club to re request the tickets that they sent back? i`m pretty sure that it wouldnt have been a problem at the stoke end seein as thats what we could have had anyway.dont know if the planning for police,stewards etc has already been made but i just thought it was worth asking the question like. :pray:

Stoke fans will probably already have bought them. Tickets would have been already printed and sold before their FA cup final appearance i expect.
do you think they would have sold all their own tickets though? anyway,still a bit of a boo boo by the club i reckon.

Sounds like the club on the whole didnt hold out much hope for us to me !! This scenario should have been taken into account and in my view is a faux pas as we would have sold out easily ! 12th man syndrome can have a massive effect on players ya know ! :shock:

But if we were already down, very few would have gone and we would have all been slagging off the club for wasting money.
That said, if it was my £35k, I think I’d have risked it – provided I still had my £300m sitting in the bank behind it.

Does the club pay the full £25 per ticket ? I was under the impression that away clubs get some sort of return on their outlay ! If that were the case then it would have been less of a gamble and with the rewards being so high, worth a risk in my opinion !

Probably not actually, and I think I would have gambled it too. I’d have just fined Boselli a week’s wages – for being mard, or some other trumped up charge – to pay for it.
