The thing is, who is going to buy any of this lot?
People keep saying McManaman may go – well firstly he’s welcome to, he’s adding nothing, but who, if they have watched him recently, is going to take him from a club second from the bottom of the Championship?
And other players the same – names are mentioned that they will be snapped up if they leave. No they won’t.
Maybe the players need to realise that.

The vast majority of these players are very saleable, thinking nobody would want them is very naïve. In another team they’d play in the position/way they were purchased for and be successful.
If it were me now my hand would be straight up, playing under these circumstances.
The sooner we realise we’re in the biggest dogfight we’ve seen for some time the better, we need some energy now. We can’t go on with that luxury midfield now. Tavernier, Waghorn, Delort should all be given a go now before its too late.
