Having said that the prehydration was good. There was a good atmosphere. I said to the folks around me after the delirious celebrations of the first goal ….. ‘imagine what it’ll be like if we score a second’, and it lived up to expectations.

A DREADFUL bit of reffing – not seen anything as bad as that since Carzola fell over his velcro for a penalty about 4 years ago or Blackburn’s corner. Even the Ipswich manager, Derek Dougan said ‘what was the penalty for’.

But some fight and determination from the players improved things. All in all a good afternoon just spoilt by only 1 thing.

All the same I hate ‘double d’s’ but I do like a game nicely rounded off with at least a couple neat goals. :) :)
